Press release: Waddinxveen, April 7, 2010

Doedijns expands its valve actuator business activities with the acquisition of Site.

On April 1, 2010 Doedijns International acquired all issued common stock of Site Valve Automation Centre and Site Tork at corporate premises of Ten Berge Notarissen in Nijmegen. Site has a workforce of 30 employees, with which it generates approximately € 7,5 mln of revenues per annum.

The business activities of Site will be integrated with those of affiliate Doedijns Pneumatics, without any loss of jobs. Doedijns Pneumatics will move to new built corporate premises of Site situated at Van Galenweg 23, Cuijk, the Netherlands and leave its corporate premises situated at Lange Linden 32, Cuijk, the Netherlands prior to October 31, 2010. Business unit director of Doedijns Hydraulics, Martin Rosmolen, has been appointed as business unit director of Doedijns Pneumatics and will manage Doedijns Pneumatics as from April 1, 2010.

With the acquisition of Site, Doedijns International strengthens its position within the oil and gas industry. “Doedijns is already well known as supplier of hydraulic valve actuator (‘emergency shut down’) systems, which contribute to safety at refineries, liquefied natural gas (LNG) plants and jetties. With the addition of Site we can now offer our clients both hydraulic and pneumatic valve actuator solutions. Our product gamma is broadened with gas over oil actuators, subsea actuators, as well as promising and ‘home brew’ lift & turn actuators and compact actuators. I see many opportunities for the Bettis products and parts of Emerson Process Management Valve Automation and the Ledeen products and parts of Cooper Cameron, with respect to which Site has been honoured with exclusive distribution rights!” says Cees Knuist, Sales manager valve automation of Doedijns Hydraulics.

Roads of the three founding fathers of Site diverge. Berry Richters will stay on board for an indefinite period as Head of engineering valve automation, Camiel Hunink will stay on board for a definite period as Business developer valve automation and Bill Schonenberg will enjoy recently obtained and well deserved freedom.

An enthusiast Arno Kosak, Sales manager valve automation of Site: “I am convinced that healthy growth lies ahead of us. Site is active within the Benelux and the Nordics and sells it valve actuators in general excluding      ‘on site’ field installation. Doedijns is successful in Asia in countries such as Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and India and has an substantial service department at its disposal, with which we can extend the proposition towards our clients. In addition to this I am excited to get access to the pneumatic products and parts of Versa. Doedijns and Site are a perfect match! I look forward to collaborate intensively with the valve automation team of Doedijns Hydraulics and my 25 new colleagues in Cuijk of Doedijns Pneumatics.”
